The owner is a guide to Šumava - he will be happy to give you travel tips or personally accompany you to the mountains. You will get to know the nature, stories and history of the places you pass through - forests, meadows, rocks, streams, extinct settlements and houses. The house has practically everything you need. The accommodation serves not only as a place to rest, but also as a place for mental work and concentration. Organic coffee is part of the stay :-).

Our cottage

Our cottage is a place for anyone who likes to recharge their batteries in nature – whether as a couple or in the peaceful company of friends and family. You'll find it in an oak and pine forest near Borovany in South Bohemia, in beautiful natural surroundings not far from the Novohradské Mountains. Although it might not look like it at first glance, there are neighbours in the area, but they can't be seen from the cottage. Enjoy sitting by the crackling fireplace with a book and a cup of tea or breakfast on the deck. There is no wifi in the cabin, so enjoy your time really together.

Chalupa u Prachatic

Ideal cottage for family recreation in Šumava with year-round operation. Two bedrooms (2+2 and 2 beds), two living rooms (2 beds in the upper), two equipped kitchens, two bathrooms, three toilets. On the ground floor there is an infrared sauna and a whirlpool (with enough water for an extra fee), a private Finnish sauna 1 km away (extra fee). Absolute peace. Private pond. Outdoor playground (swing, slide, sandbox). Newly built covered summer kitchen for outdoor seating (pergola) with fireplace, drinking water, electric stove and electricity.

Chalet Heart³

The newly built wooden chalet was completed with a lot of love for detail in March 2024. It was built in a modern style and meets the highest energy requirements. The path from your own parking space, through the house, to the covered veranda with new, electrically heated hot tub was designed at ground level. Inside you can make yourself comfortable with the wood-burning stove and your own sauna (free of charge). The National Park cycling path and beautiful hiking trails are within walking distance.

Country cottage with natural garden

The cottage is both a peaceful place for families with children and a romantic getaway for couples. Bikers and hikers will find facilities for their travels. If you are looking for a refuge, a place for mental rest, or for concentrated creative activity, the cottage is here for you. The garden is at your disposal for moments of relaxation, sitting by the fire, and gazing at the night sky. It will also provide you with fresh herbs and seasonal fruits and vegetables, the smell of grass and flowers.

Kovárna Apartment

The spacious apartment is located on the ground floor of the house, so it has direct access to the garden. The dominant feature of Kovárna is its original brick vaults and hearth, which give the rooms a unique look. Two separate bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room make Kovárna the perfect apartment for a large family or a group of friends. Six guests can sleep comfortably here. Maximum capacity up to eight guests. The apartment has 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.

Forget your worries - enjoy the quiet and spacious accommodation. For wellness lovers, relax after hiking in the hot tub. You have everything you need here. In 500 m you are at the next small beach, landing place for the 2 boats that are freely available to you. In 200 m in the supermarket and the best soft ice cream is just around the corner! 6 bicycles are ready for you plus 3 for the very small guests. Pick fruits in the garden, cherries, plums, apples and blackberries.🍎🍒

Chalupa U Čmeláka

A luxuriously equipped cottage for all who love unspoiled nature and still like to indulge in luxury accommodation. There is a spacious garden with a pergola and a terrace. In case of bad weather, you can sit in the lounge with a fireplace. Experience relaxation in a hot tub with a unique view (extra charge). The hot tub is located outside and is in operation from March 1 to October 31 (depending on current temperatures). We do not allow pets.

Medieval Bastion built in 1505 as a city fortification. Very unique experience, only few of them in the world used as accommodation. The tower was totaly renovated in summer 2016 with 21st century standards, and it's standing just 200 meters from the Cesky Krumlov castle. Great for family, friends or 2 couples.
