Gloriously private without feeling secluded, this charming guesthouse was totally updated in 2019. Enjoy the peace and quiet. Go for a walk or bike ride on the 28 plus acres or pretty rural lanes. 2.5 miles away is Lake Robertson for activities . Sit on the porch too! On a snowy night, enjoy the wd-burning fireplace . (We will often leave fireplace prepared to light. Gas heating also). Get cozy with the full kitchen, washer/dryer, games and books. DirecTv in the living room and bedroom. too!

Relax with the whole family at this most peaceful place to stay. We welcome 2 - 6 guests to our spacious home overlooking a pond. Our closest neighbors are deer and Canadian geese. Each room features elegant surprises -- a quiet reading nook, 2 gas fireplaces, breakfast in our sunporch, double wine/soft drink fridge, serene dining room, well-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms plus a study with daybed, spacious living room, 3 full baths, and lower-level game room, right next to the full laundry.

The Little Gallery House, near Natural Bridge, is part of an old Civilian Conservation Corps Camp, then juvenile detention center, now a campground and artist community, called Thunder BRidge. There are 100 acres to explore, bordering the Jefferson National Forest, with hiking trails and just 2 miles from the James River. This would be an ideal place for family to meet if some of you want to camp and others would like a real house. There is a queen bed and a day bed.

Landors cottage

NEW!! Relax with the whole family at this beautiful cottage that was built in 1949 and was thoughtfully renovated in 2025. It is located close to Natural Bridge State Park (1/2 mile), the Virginia Safari park (5 miles), Lexington (14 miles), and many hiking trails. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other 2 twin beds and a pull out couch. The kid's bedroom has books, blocks, puzzles and games. Come enjoy our beautiful home.
