Quiet accommodation with direct transport links to Basel (18 minutes by tram from Basel SBB). The village center with many shopping opportunities is a 3-minute walk away. Very quiet location despite being close to the city. The property is adjacent to our house, the access is through the garden. The room can be heated by a wood-burning stove. We are a family of four with a very trusting Cocker Spaniel and 3 chickens. Wi-Fi is only usable in the garden (room walls are too thick)

The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.

The apartment is on the 1st floor of a lovingly renovated house with a garden, near the city limits of Basel. It lies 9 minutes by tram from the SBB train station and right across from the idyllic recreation area Grün 80. The apartment is flooded with light and airy. In addition to the bedroom, there is a living room with a sofa bed , a workspace and a chill corner, as well as a bathroom with a bathtub and a fully equipped kitchen.

Our site with direct access to the Rhine River and near the city of Basel is open annually from March to November and has a lot to offer! Easily accessible by public transport, located in the Jura hills between Basel and Olten. Ideal for hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing in winter, cross-country skiing. The apartment has direct access to the fenced garden and the natural pool, which is ready for swimming in summer. Grilling facilities are available in the garden. Dogs are of course welcome.

La Borbiatte, beautiful chalet in the heart of the Jura

In the heart of the canton of Jura, in Switzerland, the hamlet of Séprais stands there, in a green setting, in the countryside. At the end of this street of about twenty village farms is a duplex attic, called LA BORBIATTE. Séprais has no bakery, no grocery store, no restaurant but you will find all this in Boécourt (2.5 km, 25 minutes' walk).
