Throughout the year, the nature of the Bavarian Forest invites you to explore it. Hiking trails are right at your doorstep. Extended tours are just as possible as Nordic walking, snowshoeing in winter, or easy walks. Look for mushrooms in the fall and enjoy the snow in the winter. Cross-country ski trails are on site when there is sufficient snow.

Chalet Kremstalblick

A lovingly designed retreat on the outskirts of Neuhofen an der Krems in the heart of Upper Austria that you don't necessarily want to leave. A place of relaxation, perfect for activities in the city triangle Linz – Wels – Steyr, Kremstal and Salzkammergut. Appreciate the local, without mass tourism. Charming vacation home on the edge of the forest

The house in Karlstift is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, right on the edge of the forest. On the upper floor you enter the spacious living room, equipped with a traditional tiled stove, a bedroom with a large double bed, as well as the kitchen and a bathroom plus toilet. If you go down one floor, you will find two more bedrooms, as well as a second bathroom with toilet. The Haus Karlstift also has a garage space and a nice terrace with adjoining garden.

Witch's House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The witch's house is located in the heart of the Wald4/teil. You can get right into the circular hiking trail to Lohnbachfall. There are plenty of mountain bike trails all around. There is a forest pool and natural bathing ponds nearby. From 5:00 pm, you can use the wellness facilities in the nearby spa house. In the winter, it is not far to skiing or cross-country skiing.

Chalet Dueppre

Book your stay and enjoy two cozy, beautifully decorated log cabins all to yourself, set on a private, fully enclosed property. A sauna and gym are available on request. From May to September, relax in the heated pool and soak up the sweeping views. Heading to the slopes? A shuttle to the Puchenstuben ski area (15 min away) is available for a small fee. And yes—there’s excellent Wi-Fi for streaming or working remotely.

Close to the village of Kaplice is Krumau, Budweis or Lipno nad Vltavou / Lippen The location makes the log cabin suitable for various activities in all seasons.
