Exclusive penthouse in Mechelen

This impressive building was a former music school, which has been renovated and turned into stunning private duplex apartments. This ensemble is more than a century old and has some very typical Belgian features with terraces, gardens, red bricks and metal beams. This beautiful home is very quiet and has a lot of lights flowing in. It comes with a large open kitchen fully equipped, bed linen and towels are provided as well. Digital TV and Wifi are available. Bedroom with king size box-spring. The bookshelves offer a nice choice of travel guides in English and Philosophy readings in Dutch! From there, you can walk to the main square where the weekly (Saturday before 13h00) fresh market is located with a wonderful choice of vegetables, fruits, flowers and other local products. The main train station is also accessible, Brussels and Antwerp are only 20 mn away with direct lines. A place for bikes is available, a local supermarket is also nearby as well as relaxing cafes and restaurants. Finally, the National Airport of Zaventem can be reached in 15 mn by taxi when there is no traffic.
