Welcome to our newly built guest house "Ladan." A home in a quiet, rural setting just east of Uppsala. With us, you live 13 km from Uppsala C and 7 km from the E4, which takes you further towards Arlanda or Stockholm. 1000 meters from the accommodation, a bus goes directly to Uppsala C and during some summer days, you can take a steam train to the city with the museum railway Lennakatten. The guest house is located on the outskirts of Gunsta community, close to nature. In the area, there is the nice Stiernhielms Krog & Livs, where you can eat well or shop a little.

Waterfront house rentals

Unique boathouse from the early 1900s with 10 meters to its own beach and jetty. The house has a shower, toilet, simple kitchenette, fireplace and wood-fired sauna, An oasis that is for you who appreciate the quality of life and do not want to live in the center. The loft bed has two mattresses directly on the floor and is accessed via a ladder. The ceiling is low, so here you have to embrace your inner cat and crawl in gently towards the mattresses 😊 Cosy, charming and not for anyone who wants to lie fully stretched out in bed 😉 Bed linens, towels are included.

You are welcome to book our house at a special "try-it-out" price. Our house in the Stockholm archipelago has a unique location, is completely self-sufficient in electricity through solar panels, and is not connected to the electricity grid. The house is "off grid" and there are only a few minor imperfections left. The Stockholm Archipelago Trail (SAT) hiking trail passes near the house.

Here, you can stay in a house directly at the sea's edge in Stockholm's Archipelago. Only 30 minutes by car from central Stockholm. The house consists of a double bedroom with sea views, sleep with the window open and hear the waves. Social room with fully-equipped kitchen, sofa and armchairs. Patio in two directions with both morning and evening sun. There is a small pebble beach directly adjacent to the house, 20 meters from the house there is also a wood-fired sauna that you can borrow. Swimming dock available 100 meters from the house.

Your own cabin by the lake

Relax in this unique and peaceful accommodation right by the lake. You come here to enjoy nature. Enjoy a morning or evening dip from the jetty 30 metres away, which you share with the landlords who live in the large house a little further up. Take a trip on the lake or a walk in the woods right outside the door. Nearby, you will find the Fjällnora outdoor area, and if you want to go into town, it is about 20 minutes to Uppsala city, where you will find every kind of restaurant and shopping you can imagine.

The cottage features a living room, bedroom with a king-size bed, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, and private deck facing the sun. Enjoy a wood-fired sauna, lakeside swimming, and nearby nature trails for hiking, cycling, and ice-skating/skiing when the lake is frozen. Close to Lennakatten vintage steam train and Fjällnora. Ideal for a relaxing or active getaway year-round!

The Jetty Suite, with Sauna, canoe & add-on spa

Enjoy 50 m2 houseboat with it’s own sauna and panoramic views of the water. Swim directly from the bedroom. You will have a memorable experience because of the views, the beautiful location, the garden, and the jetty with it’s sundeck. Our boat is suitable for couples who like to surprise or celebrate their partner, adventurers who want to get close to the nature and to still be near Stockholm. A canoe is avalible in summertime. We also offer an add-on spa & wood-heated sauna in eveningtime.

Central location in charming house from 1850. 84 square meters in three levels with 2 bedrooms. Living room with a large sofa, fireplace, kitchen island with 5 chairs and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and coffeemaker. Bathroom with shower, washing machine and a sauna. A few meters to the lake with for swimming. 15 minutes to Arlanda Airport and 35 minutes to Stockholm City. Sigtuna is the oldest town in Sweden with lots of charming restaurants, cafés and shops.

Cosy cottage, 150m to private jetty. Option to hire the floating sauna with roof terrace and lounge area for an additional fee. Short trips on the lake can also be arranged (weather dependent). Activities available by request: fishing, paddle board, water skiing, kayaking, sailing. The cottage is set in Rävsta nature reserve, 4km from historic town of Sigtuna, easily reached by bicycle or short walk. The airport is conveniently only 20 mins and Stockholm City, 40 mins.

Charmig stuga/ Cottage with lake view

Vår charmiga gäststuga ligger i ett naturskönt område med skogar och sjöar direkt inpå knuten. Fina vandringsmöjligheter direkt utanför dörren. Stugan är ca 22 m2 och har ett helkaklat badrum med dusch, ett enkelt pentry med kylskåp, frysfack, mikrovågsugn, plattor och vattenkokare och köksbord. Det finns två sängar samt en bäddsoffa med soffbord. Goda kommunikationer med buss eller bil till Uppsala (20 min) och Arlanda (35 min). Endast 75 km till Stockholm.
