Enjoy the nature that reigns around our little piece of heaven, located a few steps from the village of Horrues... Visit nearby Pairi Daiza Park (18 min), explore our beautiful countryside on foot or by bike, admire the castles of the surrounding villages. And, nature lovers, don't hesitate to scan the horizon, you could see beautiful birds!

Gîte Le Sambre

Ce logement mémorable est tout sauf ordinaire. L'histoire de notre péniche, ou le confort moderne rencontre le calme apaisant de l'eau, pour une évasion totale. Notre péniche ne navigue plus depuis des années mais en 2023 a été remise à neuf. Le bateau date de 1947, il ravitaillait les péniches en eau potable sur la Meuse, rapatrié il y a environ 35ans au chantier naval de Thuin qui n'existe plus maintenant. Il a servit de restaurant jusqu'en 2022 et puis a été transformé en gîte.

Beautiful industrial loft totaly restaured. Located in our house, the loft is completely private, you share the entrance hall and the backyard with us. The loft features 1 kitchen 1 huge bedroom with a 1m80 width bed and a mezzanine with the sitting-room view. There is a also a cosy reading corner and a beautiful brand new bathroom with an italian shower. 65 square meters in total with air conditioning. Access to the jacuzzi is optional for 20€ bathrobes included.

The Wooden Moon

The Wooden Moon was designed to offer you magical moments of relaxation for two. Everything has been created so that you can make a discreet and quiet entrance and escape in complete privacy while enjoying together the wellness area with the infrared sauna, the spa on the terrace overlooking a green panorama, out of sight and a cocooning corner outside around the fire. Everything is at your disposal so you don't have to think about anything but your well-being.

Sir Lancelot Houseboat, 2/4 people

Sir Lancelot is a beautiful 18-meter Dutch barge dating back to 1910. Enjoy a pleasant time on the banks of the Sambre, at a slow pace, rocked by the water and wind. Enjoy the wheelhouse or the cozy lounge/bar with a view of the water. If you like to cook, everything is there, or if you prefer a restaurant or takeout, check out our guide. You can park your car a few meters from the boat. Sir Lancelot is perfect for 2 people. 4 people is also possible!

The Hourpes gîte

Our gîte opens its doors to you in a green setting on the banks of the Sambre. Hiking and cycling enthusiasts will enjoy the trails (GR 129) and the Ravel network (EuroVelo 3) just a short walk away. Its friendly atmosphere and terrace will allow you to savor every moment. Halfway between heritage and nature, between the Abbey of Aulne, the medieval city of Thuin and the Eau d'Heure Lakes, it is the perfect base for discovering our region.

Total change of scenery. Return to the boating of the 1900s while enjoying high-end comfort. Totally autonomous, this barge will enchant you with its quiet and river environment. Located close to Thuin, you can enhance your stay with multiple activities. In addition, if your reservation is at least 2 nights, I can offer you a trip to Thuin (subject to weather conditions). Special price of €50 on Sunday if you book Friday and Saturday.

Private entrance from the adjoining house. Upstairs, a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a small private living room. Possibility of extra mattress if needed. The living room is equipped with a fridge, microwave, double hot plate, Senseo, electric kettle and some dishes. There is also a table, chairs and two armchairs. From a sanitary point of view, there is a small sink, toilet and private shower on the ground floor. Wi-Fi.

This refuge built in 2023, located in the Binche area, is in an exceptional setting. You will be completely immersed in nature, surrounded by fields, woods and facing a beautiful pond, all in a 6-hectare property. The lodge is designed for 2 people. It is designed to provide a pleasant experience regardless of the weather. You will stay there independently in peace. Well-being assured!
