Alapiha Arboretum Guesthouse and Sauna

Cozy guesthouse and sauna in a wild tree sport park. The area has about 250 different varieties of woody trees and shrubs on two acres. The tree was planted in 1970 and forms its own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is partly still in a natural state and the area is undergoing renovation. For those interested, the arboretum will be gladly introduced during the visit. The house crowd includes two lapin reindeer dogs, a cat, a rooster, and 6 hens. Breakfast on-demand

Rakennus sijaitsee samalla tontilla omakotitalon kanssa kuitenkin täysin erillään ja omalla sisäänkäynnillä. Läheltä löytyvät: sairaalan palvelut 1,4km, S-market (auki 24/7) 700m, apteekki, ravintoloita sekä hiihtoladut/lenkkipolut alkavat takapihalta. Vieraalla on käytettävissä kaksi polkupyörää. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. An oak is quietly located on a clean water lake. The cottage has a fully equipped and up-to-date kitchen, a fireplace, three bedrooms, and a grill house in the yard. Your own wood-burning sauna is in the same building. The holiday cottage has its own beach. The equipment includes a rowing boat, a canoe, life jackets, and a SUP board. In the winter, it comes with one set of sliding snow shoes and two pairs of regular snowshoes.

Modern two room apartment in the third floor of the apartment house build 1930, full renovated 2005. The house is located very close to the lake Höytiäinen. This location offers a peaceful environment for the fried of nature, but also lot of possibilities for different activities direct with a few steps from the house. The is only 100 meters to the beach. In front of the house are passing the nature and mountain bike –tracks witch turn in the winter as a cross country ski trail.

A two-bedroom house (75 m2) 60 metres from the lake and a sauna cottage 20 metres from the shore of lake Viinijärvi, in Polvijärvi, in very beautiful surroundings, 25 minutes by car from the centre of Joensuu. The house is well equipped and beautifully furnished. The kitchen has a dishwasher and TV. The bathroom also contains an infrared sauna, but there is also a wood heated sauna by the lake. The price contains bed linen, towels ,coffee, tea, oil etc.

Close to great cycling routes, local shop 3 km. A perfect place to relax. In the summer, the evening sunsets are enchanting – in the winter, you can see the northern lights. The space can accommodate two people, but we can arrange mattresses for two additional guests.

Welcome to relax in the sauna room in our yard, by the lake! Although a small, stylish sauna is part of our inhabited courtyard, you will find peace, nature, privacy and wonderful landscapes here. The place is also great for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Rowing boat and SUP board available. Bring your own linens and towels. However, if needed, linens will be arranged from the home you stay in.

Built in 2022, a studio apartment building right next to the university. Mehtimäki sports park is next door. The apartment is 1km to Joensuu Market and 2km to the train station. The apartment has all the amenities for a short stay and a little longer. The apartment has a bed and a sofa bed. Large covered balcony. The building has an elevator so it is easy to move into the apartment. The apartment has a parking spot.
