Ground floor : Here you will find a fully equipped, modern fitted kitchen and a stylishly furnished living room with dining area, a double sofa bed, SAT TV and fireplace, which provides a perfect evening ambience in cold weather. Room 4- is equipped with a closet, 2 single beds 80x200 cm, 2 bedside tables. On request, the single beds can be joined together to form a double bed. Bathroom with bathtub, washbasin, WC and towel radiator is located on the ground floor. A utility room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board is also available here. First Floor: Room 1- is equipped with spacious designer wardrobes, a double bed 180x200 cm, 2 bedside tables and LED TV. Room 2 - is furnished with a French double bed 140x200 cm, closet, bedside table, chest of drawers, LED TV and work desk. From room 1 and 2, you can enjoy the unique view over the village and the Wiesbach valley. Room 3 - is equipped with 2 single beds 90x200cm, bedside table, closet and LED TV. There is also a bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin, towel radiator and WC. As the bedrooms can be occupied differently, the following rules apply: 1. the guest chooses the appropriate bedroom himself if possible (e.g. room 1 for 2 persons). 2. other “bedrooms” are not available. 3. the house is only occupied by the person ordering and their companions. Example: A couple orders the house for 5 days, chooses bedroom 1, for two persons, remaining bedrooms are not prepared. All other rooms (living room, bathrooms, kitchen, etc.) are available to the couple. On each floor there are terraces with dining and seating facilities and a wonderful panoramic view. The house is located right on the edge of the forest. It is built on a slope and is therefore not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Infants up to the age of 2 stay free of charge in their parents' bed. Children in the garden must be supervised. Pets are only allowed on request.

Your accommodation is a separate part of our house and is located in a beautiful former American officer's quarter. You have on 35qm a living room with a large comfortable(!) sofa bed, a refrigerator, a bedroom with a double bed (queen size only!!!) and a bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. In the entrance area there is a tea kitchen, dishes, cutlery and glasses but NO KITCHEN! You have a terrace behind the house and a parking space directly in front of the door.

In the fully equipped, there is also a small bar table with 2 bar stools for a short coffee in between. The dining table in the living room offers enough space for everyone. Nearby you will find all the shops for everyday needs and some restaurants.

The old coin

The house is over 500 years old, was completely newly renovated in 1994 sustainably and with style-appropriate materials yet also modern. It is a closed courtyard surrounded by old stone walls and lots of plants, great for children and animals. This cozy in-law is good for group trips. There is 1 double bed (1.40 m) + three single beds + a sofa bed for two in the living room. Baby crib + highchair available. The fully equipped kitchen offers the opportunity to take care of yourself. By bus and train, the connection to Frankfurt, Hanau, Gießen or Friedberg is within 90 - 120 minutes, by car within about 20-40 minutes. The A45 motorway is about 5 minutes away.

Gründau is conveniently located to the A66 motorway between Fulda and Frankfurt ( 30 min) and associated with visiting surrounding attractions. For example Büdingen, Gelnhausen or Bad Orb with their beautiful half-timbered houses. A private train runs to Büdingen or Gelnhausen. Hikers will find numerous hiking trails.
