This little gem is perfect for both the family of 4, or him/her who is in the area because of business. The wooden cottage is a guest house in our garden, so you should expect that we will use the garden ourselves while you rent the cottage. The large natural area on the protected ridge is forested, and from the top, where there is a magnificent view of Roskilde Fjord, a staircase leads down to an area with a bathing jetty. With a location within a reasonable distance from Roskilde and Copenhagen, the house is very suitable for guests who are looking for both nature and cultural experiences. Welcome to our cottage in Orups/Gamlehus! Our half-timbered thatched cottage is part of the former stable of our 18th century renovated farmhouse in the small but charming village of Domsten on the Sound between Denmark and Sweden. The beach is a short 2 minutes walk away; the marina 5 minutes. Domsten is an excellent base from which to explore South-West Sweden and North East Denmark (a 20-minute ferry ride away). Excellent opportunities for cycling, hiking and other outdoor activities.

Beautiful and well-maintained annex in scenic surroundings

Welcome to our little annex from 1812. The annex is a nice home kept in a relaxed style. It is located in beautiful surroundings right up to the forest and lake, and is perfect as a quiet workplace or as a quiet guest house. It's an older house that has everything you need. Nice double bed in the bedroom, fully equipped kitchen. In the living room, there is a nice large corner sofa and fireplace. The living room is next to an inhabited room, which is not part of the rental.

Quiet lovely and architect designed villa close to Copenhagen City centre (15 km). 10 min walk to nearest train station from where a train will take you to Copenhagen City in appr. 15 minutes. Large garden with trampolin and playhouse for children. A local City centre (10 min on foot) provides shopping and lovely restaurants. 10 min drive will get you to Copenhagen Racecourse and Bakken (similar to Tivoli) an amusement park (150 years old). Lakes and forests also nearby.

The newly renovated apartment features two large bedrooms with a king and queen size bed. Keep in mind that the apartment is located directly in the centrum of Copenhagen which means that it is lively at night, especially in the weekends. The double pane windows help a lot but it can still get noisy at times.
