The place is in the middle of nowhere, but within a humanly reachable distance of several attractions and services. The nearest shops are about 15 minutes' drive and public transport (train) is about 5 km from the property.

Location near Sibelius' home Ainola. 1.5 km to the city center. Beach park nearby. 30 min by train to Helsinki. The area is old Järvenpää, the properties protected by the Museum Office and under renovation surround the property.

Log cabin in the countryside

A 40m2 log cabin with modern amenities, a 40-minute drive from Helsinki. About a 20-minute drive to Porvoo. Peaceful location in the countryside, large sunny terrace with an expansive view, in the summer there is also a grill canopy available. An air source heat pump keeps the cottage warm in the winter and cool in the summer. A yard sauna completed in May 2025 is also available. Lake and boat whale about 100 meters away. The sandy beach of the municipality is within walking distance (about 600m).

A wonderful villa in the Nuuksio National Park

The beautiful scenery of the national park opens up in every direction from the windows of the house. Outdoor trails start right from the front door! Relax in the gentle steam of a traditional Finnish sauna, and soak in a hot tub under the starry sky (new clean water for every guest - also in winter). Children will enjoy the large yard with a playhouse, trampoline, swing and yard toys. The villa is located 39 kilometers from Helsinki Airport and 36 kilometers from the center of Helsinki.

Forest garden apartment Kulloviken

Our lovely annex was build in 1968, few years later than the main house where we live. It has been fully rennovated to accomodate a full kitchen, bathroom and a living area with a double bed and a vintage couch. We wanted to bring back some of the farmhouse charm with wood floors, raw tiles and a good twist of rural mystic. The kitchen was hand made from scratch to perfectly take you to a past now forgotten. The modern utilityes are there for your convinience, without breaking the spell.

Compact Studio in the Countryside near Helsinki

Have a peaceful stay at the countryside in the nature, only a 8 minutes drive away from the Porvoo center and 45min from Helsinki center. It’s not uncommon to see in the yard some deers and with luck you’ll get a glimpse of a moose, foxes and other animal friends from the forrest. Enjoy the idyllic city of Porvoo, nature and have excellent access to different activities only a short drive away! We offer our lovely guesthouse with sauna and a hot tub to Helsinki area visitors who appreciate nature, privacy and maybe a round of golf- we are located right by the 12th green of Kullo Golf and 40km from Helsinki centre. The cottage is an old log building, carefully renovated to preserve its spirit while suiting the needs of a comfort lover. Not included: - Hot tub (80e/ first day, 40e/ each following day)
