Hekluhestar farm guesthouse

Our guesthouse was built by my parents, with the idea that it would be similar to the viking houses in the old days : a big open space, divided in three parts. It's nothing too fancy, but all basic necessities are here ! You also have access to two extra bathrooms and showers, and a sauna. The farm has horses, sheep, chicken and dogs roaming around ! The accommodation is strategically located, about one hour from Reykjavik, from the black sand beaches of Vik, and from the Golden circle.

Your visit to Iceland will be a brease with this house as basecamp. This unike propety is clouse to evrything on the south coust . The "Old house" is in the center of evrything on Southwest part of Iceland. You have Geysir and Gullfoss about 40min away, the Seacret lagoon 10min, Laugarás lagoon is 20min and Friðheimar 35min away. The national park Þingvellir is about 45min from us. Mt.Hekla is in plain sight and the river Hvítá, glaiserriver from the waterfall Gullfoss runs by the house.

Cozy and well-organized apartment with a unique location by the Golden Circle, the house is built in 2022. The apartment is fully furnished with accommodation for 2-4 people. Bedroom with double bed and smart TV. Dining room / living room with sofa bed for two and smart TV. Fully equipped and tidy kitchen, bathroom with shower and basic toiletries, washing machine and dryer. Beautiful views of the countryside and within walking distance is a swimming pool, restaurant and grocery store.

Cozy House in Tranquil Setting

A lovely newly-built small house featuring a combined kitchen, living room, and washing machine. The bedroom includes a double bed, and the bathroom is equipped with a shower. All amenities in the house are brand new. The large sliding door opens to a terrace with a view over the Hvítá River and Vörðufell Mountain. The house is situated at the bottom of a large plot, surrounded by tall trees, offering a serene and peaceful environment. The northern lights can be seen from the windows.

Experience the beauty of the Icelandic countryside in this cozy, modern cabin, located along Road 35 in the heart of the Golden Circle. Nestled in a private neighborhood. A short drive takes you to some of Iceland’s most famous attractions: Geysir, Gullfoss, and Brúarfoss, as well as restaurants like Hvönn, Efsti-Dalur, Mika, and Friðheimar. You’ll also find a convenience store nearby. Good spot for aurora viewing, and the fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare delicious meals.

My place is close to The Golden Circle and the Highlands. The place has picturesque view. You can see Hekla, Eyjafjallajökul, Langjökull through the windows of the cottage. Closed to the cottage is Skálholt church, one of Iceland´s most important historic sites. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the coziness, the kitchen, the hot tub. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Only 2 km to Health service. If you have back problems we have a soft mattress for you.

Outside the sitting room is a patio where the view is breathtaking and in winter there is a good chance to witness amazing northern lights! There is free WiFi access in the holiday house. Horseback riding is available with personal service.

The Treehouse @MagmaCabin

This house offers a unique experience via its open design with an attic resembling to a treehouse inside, surrounded with the Icelandic Highlands and a stream running past with a one-of-a-kind Magma Wall. For more Yin we offer you a private Yoga Nidra Exercise facility giving you a boost for your travels. A large sauna house is accessible after 9 PM, shared with another cabin on our premises close by.
