Calf cabin- Unique and beautiful farmstead!

Countryside getaway! If you want to experience something unique during your trip to Iceland this little house has been repurposed as guest house. On our farm it has always been called the Calf cabin, as it was used as a small barn and a stable in the past. On the outside we preserved the old rock laying and the architecture style but mixed old and new styles on the inside. We recycled and repurposed as much material as possible and we are pleased with the outcome. Now it is a cozy little suite.

Unique experience for people looking to travel around Iceland or for those who prefer just to stay in and enjoy the wild countryside. With a beautiful 360° scenery and a grand pateo you can enjoy mesmerizing sunsets and spectacular northern lights showings, given the complete lack of light pollution. It's the photohgrapher's dream location. Eyjafjallajökull and Seljalandsfoss can be seen from the apartment. 4x4 is necessary during winter as the path leading to the house can get very snowy.

This traditional Icelandic cabin stands in an open space and offers a breathtaking panoramic view. The location is ideal to see the Northern Lights (September to April 15) and for excursions to many of Iceland's most famous sights: Waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, Reynisfjara beach, Geysir hot springs and Gullfoss waterfall. Recent build cottage in the south of iceland, located just outside the small town of Hvolsvöllur, only 3 km from the town. we offer you a relaxing stay with a great view of volcano Hekla, there is much to see close to Hvolsvöllur, for example volcanos like Eyjafjallajökull, waterfalls like Seljalandsfoss or Skógarfoss. the cottage is fitted with a kitchen but if you don't feel like cooking there are resturants to choose from in the area.
