Hekluhestar cottage at the farm

Take it easy in this tranquil accommodation in our farm, with a peaceful view ! The cottage can welcome up to 6 people, although 4 is the most comfortable. Nicely located, it is about one hour by car from Reykjavik, from the Golden circle and from Vík's black sand beaches. It is 15min away from Hella's bus station, which allows you to visit Lanmannalaugar. The farm has animals roaming around, and also offers riding tours. Its owners are always happy to share a lovely riding experience !

Mt.Hekla is in plain sight and the river Hvítá, glaiserriver from the waterfall Gullfoss runs by the house.

Perfect stay for exploring south Iceland and enjoy nature and the northern lights in winter. Beautiful cabin by the river Hvítá in a prime location in the Golden Circle. My cozy little place is a 22m² apartment with a private entrance, located in a family house in Flúðir. It's small, suitable for two people but might get crowded for more. With a well-equipped kitchen and basic amenities provided. To the secret lagoon is just a 1-minute drive or a short 5-minute walk. Mountains surround Flúðir, and you get a good view of the countryside in the yard. This accommodation is well located on the golden circle.

We would like to welcome you to our cozy little cabin. It will give you the perfect opportunity to relax in a romantic and peaceful atmosphere. It is ideal for 1 or 2 persons and the highlight of the stay will most likely be the outside geothermal shower with a mountain view. During the darkest months, can you imagine to take a shower under the Northern lights? Well that is possible! This cabin is not suitable for children and infants.
