Architectural house in north Iceland. This is one of the apartments in Villa Lola, located in Vaðlaheiði near Akureyri, the capital of north Iceland. The villa is located in the exclusive residence area of Akureyri. This location offers you a quiet atmosphere and a touch of the nature. You will have a view over the bay and Akureyri . In the winter time you can enjoy the aurora borealis and in the summer time the midnight sun.
“Amazing! the view is just beautiful! the space itself is also lovely, very stylish and has all you need. Just a short drive into town where there is everything you need. We loved our stay here and just spent hours taking in that magical view relaxing. Lovely space outside as well for kids to run around and explore. Loved our stay here!”
FREE WIFI The location is in a beautiful nature reserve, close to the Reykjavik city center (20 min), the Blue Lagoon (40 min), the Golden Circle, Ishestar, a horse riding, Krisuvík, geothermal area and many more. Ideally located for exploring the South West.
“We enjoyed our stay a lot. The cabin is a very cosy and warm place to spend your evenings after exploring Iceland. Location is very convenient, you can easily make multiple day trips to see the south. Katrin prepared a lot of local tips and suggestion for her guests and made sure that we know how to reach our stay safely (we visited in the winter time)! Very nice experience.”
We do recommend guests to book 2 nights at Nónsteinn. There are so many places to enjoy and then perfect to relax in the evening. Kirkjufell - Kirkjufellsfoss - Snæfellsjökull - Water cave - lava fields - black beaches - bird life - whale watching - Mountain view - northern lights - sunset, quietness, wonderful restaurants and so much more that you can experience here or near by. Nónsteinn is perfect place for newly weds, couples or friends.
“This place is photography heaven! Can't express how beautiful this corner of Iceland is! We fell in love with the cabin, found it very roomy and comfortable. Perfect bed and kitchen facilities, extremely warm and dry. The best spot is on the porch where we took amazing sunset photographs of Kirkufell and the northern lights! The restaurant in town is lovely and we had a tasty dinner there. But overall we loved the peaceful quiet while taking in the views with a hot cup of cocoa on the porch. Can't wait to get back! The dogs are lovely and very playful!”
