In the winter time you can enjoy the aurora borealis and in the summer time the midnight sun.

We do recommend guests to book 2 nights at Nónsteinn. There are so many places to enjoy and then perfect to relax in the evening. Kirkjufell - Kirkjufellsfoss - Snæfellsjökull - Water cave - lava fields - black beaches - bird life - whale watching - Mountain view - northern lights - sunset, quietness, wonderful restaurants and so much more that you can experience here or near by. Nónsteinn is perfect place for newly weds, couples or friends.
What guests are saying:“This place is photography heaven! Can't express how beautiful this corner of Iceland is! We fell in love with the cabin, found it very roomy and comfortable. Perfect bed and kitchen facilities, extremely warm and dry. The best spot is on the porch where we took amazing sunset photographs of Kirkufell and the northern lights! The restaurant in town is lovely and we had a tasty dinner there. But overall we loved the peaceful quiet while taking in the views with a hot cup of cocoa on the porch. Can't wait to get back! The dogs are lovely and very playful!”
