Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Le gîte est équipé d'un plancher rafraichissant, d’une terrasse couverte et d’un abri voiture (possibilité de recharger votre véhicule électrique directement : 5€ /chargement).

Nice cottage fully equipped and renovated in the heart of a medieval village. Available for 2 to 3 people. The cottage is located in a pedestrian area and close to free parking. This old barn dating from the 15th century was a silk factory! With an area of 75 square meters, it is composed of a large living room with open kitchen, sitting area with sofa bed, wood-burning stove..., and upstairs a large bedroom with bathroom. Small extra sofa bed in the bedroom if needed Overlooking the gardens and pool, you have direct access to the Esplanade du Tilleul for outdoor dining, and the rest of the gardens, with direct access to the forest.

Au rez de chaussée de notre résidence, c'est un appartement cosy que nous avons aménagé pour recevoir avant tout notre famille et nos amis. Cuisine équipée, canapé lit, chambre avec lit 160 et jolie salle de bain...Tout a été refait à neuf en conservant le charme des pierres apparentes.Situé dans les ruelles pittoresques de cette ancienne cité médiévale qu'est Largentière. Admirez les maisons aux façades de pierres de grés mais aussi le château qui domine.

We hope that you will be seduced by the volumes and spaces of this house and its park that call for shared good times and also allow you to isolate yourself and take time for yourself.
