We called our gem "LaCasitaBelMundo”, just adding the dot Gent, to get the full picture.

Welcome to the Nichoir, a small independent studio located in the heart of a charming farmhouse. With a preserved character, this small unique space offers tasteful decor and a warm atmosphere. Nestled under the attics you will find a bedroom with a shower room. On the ground floor, a toilet, a small kitchen and dining area. Wake up with a pristine wide view of the drowned meadows (Meersen) and fields; changing to the rhythm of the seasons. Enjoy the spectacle of the fluttering singing skylark, the happy chirping of swallows as night falls. Lie down on the jetty, get into the boat to just float on the natural pond. Hike, bike, swim or just do nothing.

It's a very quiet place, close to nature, in the middle of the "Monts des Flandres". Rest, hiking or sightseeing: everyone will find their own. Near Belgium: Ypres (WW1 commemorations) at 30 min. The house is in the heart of nature: in the middle of a meadow, close to large trees and a water point. A peaceful, relaxing place. An ideal base for hikes or to more touristy sites. On request, breakfast: 10 euros/person.
