You will find everything from garden furniture, hammock and outdoor activities in the form of games and a trampoline. There are several cozy nooks that you are welcome to use, just as there is a Mexican fireplace and barbecue in the garden. Free parking in front of the house.

Our cottage is built of wood from our own forest, it contains an entrance, a large bedroom, bathroom and a kitchen living room. In addition, there is a cozy dining area, as well as a covered terrace. The cottage is located on the edge of a slope so the view is amazing. The wildlife in the forest can be followed from every room in the cottage, you can also look down to the large lake in the garden. We have a large trampoline, as well as a football field that you can use freely. We live in the neighboring house, so we are close by if you need anything😊

Here you have a private home that is a short distance to public transport, shopping and beautiful nature. You have your own apartment with private entrance, private toilet and fully equipped kitchen. Play one of our many board games or enjoy our cozy garden. The house is located in a small village, but close to a larger city, Kjellerup (4.3 km), with some shopping opportunities. The house is centrally located in Jutland, close to the beautiful towns of Viborg (20 km), Silkeborg (20 km), Aarhus (52 km), Billund (80 km).

Fits 4 people very well, but 6 can be squeezed in if you are a little close. Duvets, covers, towels are included. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, WiFi, Smart TV, wood stove. Washer/dryer. Quiet neighborhood. Access to the boat bridge at Sunds lake just opposite the turning area. 5 minutes to the supermarket. 15 minutes to Herning.

Note! Limited bookings spring/summer 2025 due to construction work on the farm! Welcome to Vandbakkegaarden’s Retro House. Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.

Holiday apartment by the Fjord

Total renovated holiday apartment of 130 m2 located in the village of Kvols, which is located by Hjarbæk Fjord. The apartment is located on the first floor of the old hayloft of a former farmhouse. Everything was replaced and renovated in 2012, only the visible ceiling beams are retained. There are beautiful views from the apartment. Cleaning is the responsibility of the tenant, this can be purchased.
