“Perfect... a lovely place to escape everyday life. Quiet, suitably secluded and just a short walk away from local amenities if you need it. The place was spotless and we felt immediately comfortable. The hot tub was immaculate and a superb place to relax. Mike & Barbara made the whole weekend perfect, they have the balance of being welcoming, communicating and available if required but provided us with privacy so as soon as we arrived we could enjoy our break. Will definitely return and recommend to family”

“I stayed here for 3 days in January 2020. This is a wonderful little place to visit, located at the end of a one mile track in a very attractive part of East Sussex. The nearest village is Mayfield, which is charming and well equipped with a good butcher, a deli, pubs, cafes and a nice wine merchant. The treehouse itself is a beautifully engineered building, and the interior reflects the very high standards of the owners. On arrival, Lucinda ensured that the wood burning stove was lit and kitchen was well stocked with all of the basics. Inside everything is immaculate, with lots of attention to detail; the bed, the towels, the dinnerware, the bathrobes. This is a very comfortable, well equipped and perfectly clean treehouse! I happened to visit on an extremely wet and stormy few days, and even with the winds raging outside I never felt anything other than warm and secure in this very solid structure. When the rain did let up there are some very nice walks available through the surrounding forests that literally start at the front door. Overall, this is a really remarkable place to stay with friendly and welcoming hosts, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. I don’t think there is a bad time of year to come here. It’s somewhere to come to enjoy nature and the English countryside, no matter what it happens to be doing. But you can do it whilst staying warm and comfortable!”
