It takes about 45 minutes by train and ferry to Helsingør, Denmark and less than 2 hours by train to Copenhagen. 15 minutes by car to the beach and 10 minutes by car to the golf course. Playground is nearby as well as a vending machine. The sea with a sandy beach is only 11 km away.

The beach is a short 2 minutes walk away; the marina 5 minutes. Domsten is an excellent base from which to explore South-West Sweden and North East Denmark (a 20-minute ferry ride away). Excellent opportunities for cycling, hiking and other outdoor activities.
