We are renting a 95 square meter spacious and quiet apartment in the countryside, in close proximity to Hamburg and the Lüneburg Heath. In the immediate vicinity are the museum village "Freilichtmuseum am Kiekeberg" and the "Wildpark Schwarze Berge." In the village there is a supermarket and a bakery within walking distance. Designated hiking and riding trails as well as bike paths start right outside the front door. Both Hamburg city center and Lüneburg and the Lüneburg Heath can be reached in 30 minutes.

Rade is located on the direct border to Hamburg between Nordheide and Altem Land on the southern city border to Hamburg. In 15 minutes you are in the city of Hamburg via the A1. Rade belongs to the joint municipality of Neu Wulmstorf in the district of Harburg. Rade has its own highway exit and access, making the highway exit easy to find even for those unfamiliar with the area. A barn and a cottage with a thatched roof (where the hosts live) complete the ensemble of buildings on the premise. Parking for guests on premise is available (and included when booking the flat). Important to know: The sleeping area is upstairs and can only be reached by quite steep and narrow stairs - guests should feel comfortable climbing up!

Vacation in the "dream" house

Enjoy the special flair of a 200-year-old, thatched farmhouse, one of the most beautiful half-timbered houses in the village. You are welcomed by a former stable, now a hall-like hall with a special atmosphere: Here you will find the small, stylish apartment, nestled in a beautiful natural ensemble. This house became famous in 1976 when the famous actress Elisabeth Flickenschildt wanted to realize her dream as a farmer in the countryside here, but died in 1977.

The 60 sqm apartment is on the top floor of a detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac location on the outskirts of Hamburg. I live on the ground floor. A supermarket is a 10-minute walk away, the nearest bus stop is a 3-minute walk away. By bus and train or by car, you can reach 40 minutes in Hamburg. The apartment offers 3 bedrooms, a large bathroom, a kitchen-living room and a spacious hallway. Stable fiber optic network is available.
