We are renting a 95 square meter spacious and quiet apartment in the countryside, in close proximity to Hamburg and the Lüneburg Heath. In the immediate vicinity are the museum village "Freilichtmuseum am Kiekeberg" and the "Wildpark Schwarze Berge." In the village there is a supermarket and a bakery within walking distance. Designated hiking and riding trails as well as bike paths start right outside the front door. Both Hamburg city center and Lüneburg and the Lüneburg Heath can be reached in 30 minutes.

Heathland Dream

The house is located in Rolfsen at the end of the village directly on the edge of the forest, approx. 20 minutes by car from Lüneburg. A tastefully furnished complete, ground-level floor awaits you. You can enjoy the large, well-kept garden, with magnificent views into the distance. For a small fee, it is possible to book a yoga or Qi Gong lesson. Four bicycles for excursions in the heath are available. We are also happy to pick up guests from the train station in Lüneburg for a small extra charge.

Der 2025 neu gebaute Wagen verfügt über einen Wohn- /Schlafbereich, ein separates Bad sowie eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Der kleine Kamin lädt bei jedem Wetter zu gemütlichen Stunden ein, während ihr durch das Panoramafenster den Blick in die Ferne schweifen lasst.

Rade belongs to the joint municipality of Neu Wulmstorf in the district of Harburg. Rade has its own highway exit and access, making the highway exit easy to find even for those unfamiliar with the area. Our little apartment is placed near the famous nature reserve "Lüneburger Heath", which offers a lot of activities like hiking, biking or horse riding. Starting from here is just a stone's throw to the "Heidepark Soltau" (amusement park), Snow dome Bispingen (ski park), Wildpark Lüneburger Heide and Serengeti Park (wildlife parks), etc… Take your bike or grab your horse and conquer the area! You are welcome to bring your domestic animals with you!

Happy Place Gödenstorf

Our Happy Place is located 40km south of Hamburg near the A7, 20km from Lüneburg. Seven years ago, our family decided to move from Hamburg to the country. Since then Gödenstorf has become our Happy Place. In 2017, we decided to build an apartment in our farm roof and share our Happy Place with guests. Our Shetland ponies, and our three children, are looking forward to taking our guests along for the ride.
