For rent is a rustic, secluded alpine hut (Aste), almost 400 years old, at about 1300 meters above sea level. It is located in North Tyrol, in the south of the Inn Valley in the Karwendel Silver Region at the foot of the Tuxer Alps with the Gilfert, Hirzer and Wildofen. A fantastic view compensates for the simple standard without a bathroom. The southwest location is the starting point for wonderful mountain hikes in the Karwendel Silver Region or for ski tours in the legendary area around the Gilfert in the west of the Zillertal.

Active vacation and city trip, hiking, cycling and winter sports: The Alte Schmiede in Sistrans is the perfect starting point for a break! Between fields, meadows and forests lies the village of 2,500 inhabitants at 1,000 meters directly on the Patscherkofel, with magnificent mountain panorama and views of the Inn Valley. Innsbruck is only 20 minutes away and in 30 minutes you are at the Brenner. The icing on the cake is the special charm of the apartment, which was renovated in 2023: The Alte Schmiede dates back to 1666!

A bakery and a supermarket are a 10-minute walk.

The location of the accommodation is an excellent central starting point for different destinations and activities in the Stubai Valley. The solid wood house is located in the middle of Igls, the cozy district of Innsbruck, in the southern low mountain range. The house rests charmingly among the old fruit trees of our garden. The living space is flooded with light and generous. From the sweeping southwest balcony you can see far into the Upper Inn Valley. In the east, the morning sun falls in and you can see the nearby Patscherkofel, the popular local mountain of Innsbruck.
