Spacious and convivial guesthouse on the farm

Our guesthouse was built by my parents, with the idea that it would be similar to the viking houses in the old days : a big open space, divided in three parts. It's nothing too fancy, but all basic necessities are here ! You also have access to two extra bathrooms and showers, and a sauna. The farm has horses, sheep, chicken and dogs roaming around ! The accommodation is strategically located, about one hour from Reykjavik, from the black sand beaches of Vik, and from the Golden circle.

Your visit to Iceland will be a brease with this house as basecamp. This unike propety is clouse to evrything on the south coust . The "Old house" is in the center of evrything on Southwest part of Iceland. You have Geysir and Gullfoss about 40min away, the Seacret lagoon 10min and Friðheimar the tomato farm 35min away. The national park Þingvellir is about 45min from us also. Mt.Hekla is in plain sight and the river Hvítá, glaiserriver from the waterfall Gullfoss runs by the house.

Stunning villa with amazing 360 views, great location close to the golden circle and the capital region (only 30 min drive). The villa has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 10 people. Himri is very spacious (300 sqm) and has everything you could wish for - a fully equipped gym and game room, a sauna and a hot tub. We just bought the villa and just finished a complete renovation. This beautiful Villa is located in the middle of the South Coast. The perfect locations to take day tours to the Glacier Lagoon or the Black beach in Vik with Vatnajökull National Park in the backyard. Only 5 minutes drive to the town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur where you can find all necessary services for example Supermarket, Gasstation, Restaurants and a Pharmacy. In Kirkjubæjarklaustur is also a Sport Center with a thermal swimming pool and hot tubs.

The house has 6 bedrooms with two 160 cm beds, three 140 cm beds and one 130 cm bed. The kitchen is well equipped. There are two washing machines in the house and two dryers. There is a small stream in front of the house, and the house is located in a beautiful valley with a river. It takes 30 minutes to go to Húsavík, Myvatn, Dimmuborgir and it is 40 minutes drive to Akureyri. 10 people can stay in the house.

The house is simply amazing, very private, modern and comfortable. Great views all around through large windows and a fantastic location, right on the river and by beautiful mountains. Plenty of private parking in front of the house. Large bedrooms and the living room is open with a fully equipped kitchen and a large granite island for great entertaining.
