Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish, a Nordic language. Enjoy your time in a special space away from everyday life. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, blessed with forests, lakes and snow in northern Nagano Prefecture. Nearby, there are many natural sightseeing spots such as Kurohime Highlands, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. A building from the development era, it has been stylishly renovated using plenty of natural materials such as pure cedar, hinoki cypress, and plaster. We also focused on the interior and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the winter, when it is completely covered in snow, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the snow-covered landscape. You can follow animal tracks on snowshoes and go on a snowy picnic, or enjoy a bonfire and BBQ in the riverside house in winter. There are also 7 ski resorts within a 30-minute drive. This area is famous for its powder snow, and is also a great base for skiing and snowboarding. There is also a birthday cake service for guests celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Tokuto is a newly renovated private mansion built in the 1940s on Teshima. It is conveniently located about 15mins walk from Ieura Port. Enjoy the luxurious architecture of the past, such as the authentic hand blown window glass, Onigawara (Japanese gargoyle roof tiles), and the beautiful gardens with an abundance of stone lanterns. The building consists of 2 villas, King Villa & Queen Villa. As a measure against infectious diseases, we accept one group for each building.

TOKYO LITTLE HOUSE: 1948 home in heart of city

Note: Demolition work on the neighboring building began in early January 2026. As a result, some construction noise and vibration may occur during daytime hours (8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.), except on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. Tokyo Little House is an accommodation and tourist space located in a 78-year-old house at the heart of ever-changing Tokyo. Upstairs is a private residential hotel. Downstairs, a cafe and gallery.

Yado Hakuguri 板倉の宿 白栗 -Tiny guest house-

This accommodation is a private rental, limited to one group per day. Itakura no Yado Shirakuri is a small old traditional house inn started by an owner who loves traditional houses. Itakura was relocated from the foot of Mt. Norikura and opened in June 2016. I hope that you will be able to feel the atmosphere of Itakura which is not found in everyday life.
