Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Two room appartment, located in the old city center of Purmerend. The shops, bars and restaurants are less then 50 meters from the appartment. Checkin is self checkin with key safe. Excellent bus connection to Amsterdam downtown ( 19 min.) 2 to 8 times an hour. Or to the main Subway hub in Amsterdam North ( 16 min) .The busstop is at less then 90 meters from the apartment. By car 19 minutes to central station. Exellent location for bicycling, the Beemster polder is just 500 meters away.

A well equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Shower gel is not provided. The kitchen is equipped with a four burner cooker, oven, a dishwasser, a Nespresso machine and several cooking and eating utensils. At the back of the house there is a small terrace with seating. Free Wi-fi and the use of the (smart) tv is available.

On the second floor of a rebuilt traditional Waterland house is this beautifully renovated apartment, once used as a hayloft. Located in the protected natural area of the Zeevang polder land (EU Natura 2000), famous for its birds like godwits, spoonbills, and lapwings. The view it offers is among the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Middelie is very near Amsterdam (25 km). Other historical places like Edam, Volendam, Marken, Hoorn, and Alkmaar are never far away (5–30 min. by car).

A nice and cozy stay, quietly located yet remains central. Close to the beach and cities like Alkmaar and Amsterdam. With a lovely, sunny garden where there are plenty of relax spots. The place includes the cute and easygoing cat Jet. She has her own cat door and can go in and out whenever she wants. So there's no need for a litter box. The studio is the upper floor of our secret annex, with its own entrance, small shower/toilet and kitchenette. The space is 10 by 6, with a view over the Beemsterringvaart. It's a 10-minute walk to the bus stop. Bus 314 will take you one way to the historic city of Hoorn and the other way to Amsterdam central. The bus will take 40 minutes there. It is best to buy tickets in advance of your visit to Amsterdam travel tickets so you can use all public transport ( 26/ 33 euros)

B&B Bij Suus/'t zwarte huisje

During your stay in our cottage, you can enjoy the quiet rural setting. At the same time, our cottage is centrally located: by car you can be in the center of Amsterdam in half an hour! Very close by are the popular Volendam and Edam, the picturesque De Rijp and "the town" of Purmerend. Our cottage is located on a number of popular hiking trails. You can also take a wonderful bike ride! On request, we can prepare a delicious breakfast for you! Cost: EUR 10 per person.
