The wooden house is located in a quiet residential area not far from Aachen. The forest, with the local recreation area Wurmtal, begins one street further. The guest house is only 10 minutes by car from the Soers (CHIO). Aachen city center can also be easily reached by bus. During Christmas season there is one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Germany and in summer great open-air concerts just above the border (Netherlands). Breakfast is available on request for an additional charge.

Our green island in central location allows a comfortable living on 63qm. The fully renovated old building of an old customs house offers high ceilings and a pleasant indoor climate. The large garden or a red wine at the end of the day under the roofed terrace is also relaxing. In addition to a visit to the Carolus Thermen, we also recommend the historic old town of Aachen or a trip to the Eifel National Park. The campus of the RWTH Aachen is about 10km away - the CHIO area is closer.

In etwa 11 km Entfernung befinden sich der Aachener Hauptbahnhof/Rathaus/Markt/Dom/RWTH Aachen/Casino Eurogress. Zum Campus Melaten und zum Uniklinikum RWTH Aachen sind es ca 8km. Das Aachener Reitstadion CHIO ist auch nicht weit entfernt . Kohlscheid hat eine eigene, kleine Bahnstation , sie ist fussläufig erreichbar.

The very quiet apartment in decorative vintage furnishings has a living room with dining area, office, kitchen, bedroom, hallway, bathroom and separate toilet and balcony (about 60 m²). It is located in a very quiet cul-de-sac opposite the Karman auditorium of the University of RWTH Aachen, very central location, 5 minutes' walk to the market square, town hall and Aachen Cathedral with many restaurants and cafes and cultural offerings.

The apartment is located on the 1st floor and is accessible via an external staircase. There is also a small terrace that can be used. The interior walls are plastered with clay plaster, the floor is laid with plank boards. The apartment is located in a quiet side street. Public transport (bus and train) is very close. A regular connection to Aachen, Herzogenrath or the Netherlands can be reached in a 10-15 minute walk.

Small but nice & quiet but central :-)

Renovated studio apartment (granny flat) of 22 square meters. There is a large room with dining table, single / double bed, TV and a small furnished kitchenette with coffee machine (pads), toaster, microwave and induction hob. In the hallway is a large closet. The bathroom is fully equipped with a large walk-in shower, sink and toilet. Access to our guest apartment is off the street and leads through our courtyard.

For your entertainment we have TVs in the living room and bedroom!
