The quiet location right by the conservation area does not exclude a very good transport connection. Essen trade fair: about 10 minutes; Düsseldorf trade fair: about 30 minutes Düsseldorf Airport: about 20 minutes; CentrO: about 25 minutes (each by car)

The location is very central in Gelsenkirchen, so you can reach your destinations in no time, including the Veltins Arena with public transport in under 30 min or the city center on foot in 5 min. The apartment with separate entrance is located in the basement of a 2-fam. The house is situated in a quiet settlement with good access to the city center. If you like to enjoy the peace, walk or jog through the nearby forest, this is the place to be. If you prefer to explore the surrounding area or the adjacent cities, you can quickly get to the neighbouring cities with an astonishing amount of culture, lakes and forests via the A2, A42 and A43. Cozy Forest Stay in a Steigerhaus – Dog Friendly

A bright, lovingly furnished attic apartment (2nd floor) in an old Steigerhaus (former foreman’s house from the mining era) – once part of a mining site, now surrounded by woods and meadows. A cozy home away from home for up to two people. The apartment is accessible via a comfortably wide spiral staircase. If you don’t like dogs, this isn’t the right place for you – they’re part of our family. That’s why dogs are, of course, very welcome in our holiday apartment.

Unser Haus liegt ländlich und ruhig, aber dennoch Zentrumsnah. Der HBF und die City sind ca. 10 min entfernt(zu Fuß ca.20min) A2 / A43 ca. 10min, öffentl. Verkehrsmittel im nahen Umfeld. In der Nähe sind Geschäfte des tägl. Bedarfs (Penny,Netto). Wir freuen uns auf Euch.

The living room is open on the 2nd floor. Attic (without elevator). The accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen, a large living-dining area, a sofa, two bedrooms with one bed each and two single beds (extra beds). A bathroom with shower and tub as well as a sink and toilet is available. The apartment is about 300 meters from the cultural center (VHS) Herne and about 500 meters from Herner city center. A supermarket and a bakery are right behind the house.
