Het Goede Gemoed is located in a very wooded area where you can walk, cycle and recreate to your heart's content. On the grounds of the University of Twente you can enjoy sports. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. Het Goede Gemoed; "Afterwards and yet close". Good cozy restaurants are plentiful and also grabbing a movie is done in no time.

Our cottage is located behind our house near the nature reserves Haaksberger- and Buurserveen. Natural swimming pool within walking distance. Enjoy the quiet surroundings and beautiful hiking and cycling tours. Price for sauna on request. From the veranda you have a beautiful view of meadows and wooden waves. The place is suitable for 1 or 2 people. For a small fee you build your own campfire. A coal barbecue is available. Use of own cooking appliances is not permitted.

Cottage under the walnut

Sleeping under a clear starry sky and waking up to the chirping of the birds. In the northeast of the Achterhoek, as part of our farmhouse, we have converted an old barn into a comfortable guesthouse. The cottage is in a large garden surrounded by fruit trees, free to pick.
