Strand is a child-friendly, wide sandy beach with a blue flag. We are located 3 km from Gjerrild town, where there is a grocery store with a large selection, 14 km from Grenå, 19 km from Djurs Sommerland, Bønnerup harbor about 6 km, where there is a fish shop and eateries. The heat source is air to air, there is a small dishwasher, coffee machine and washing machine and otherwise all the utensils that should be in a kitchen.

The neighbor's horses and animals come out of the forest and graze while you sit and enjoy breakfast. Pack your fishing rod and walk the 950 meters down to the coast with the unique cliffs and catch your own fish. Take a walk across the Sangstrup cliff to Hjembæk, where you can look down into the sea and maybe the cafe is open, so you can enjoy an ice cream with a cup of coffee while you find fossils.

The cottage is just a short walk from one of Denmark's best and most child-friendly sandy beaches, where there are plenty of opportunities for swimming, playing, and long walks along the water. The large, enclosed and secluded garden is perfect for both children and dogs, who can play freely while the adults enjoy the sun on the terrace or a quiet moment with a cup of coffee.
