The town of Marshall, an artistic enclave, is 25-30 minutes away, and downtown Asheville is a 45-50 minute drive. Hiking and rafting nearby.

Choose from a wide variety of hiking trails, including the crest trail of Mount Mitchell, the highest peak east of the Mississippi, or driving the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. Asheville known for its micro-breweries and eclectic downtown is an hour away.
