Corner Suite with whirlpool

Corner Suite (50 square meters) with views over the skyline of Rotterdam, the river and Erasmus Bridge. Your room has a big bathroom with whirlpool and high windows. Ceiling in this suite is at 5 meters! Suite including working place and two arm chairs to admire the view. For breakfast we serve a French breakfast with 2 croissants, jam & butter. You have a excellent coffee machine (+ tea kettle) in your room. A full breakfast can be ordered (extra costs).

While we are all for ‘power to the people’, we also understand that everyone likes to be king of the castle every now and again. That’s why we built our very own! Handmade from (clean) slate, the CNC was one of the most labor intensive structures in the hotel. With its medieval exterior and 21st century interior, this fortress offers everything for a comfortable conquest of the city of Rotterdam.

A vibrant lounge area is featured, characterized by bold red walls and a unique yellow wavy sofa. A small orange side table complements the seating. Open shelving displays an array of books, enhancing the creative ambiance of the space.

This room is still work in process. Leaving its content to be decided, we thought we’d let our guests be part of the creative process and share some of their ideas for this ‘vacant’ lot. Staying in this room means letting ideas flow onto the canvas. There are no boundaries to what your imagination can conceive. Creativity lies within us all.

However, the trademark Coenen details probably have little to do with the traditional timepiece he once bought in the Czech Republic, which inspired the work.
