Situated just 250 metres from Lanark town centre, the cottage is also just minutes away from the World Heritage Site of New Lanark Village, and a 5 -10 minute walk to both the train and bus stations connecting the town to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. The cottage also lies close to both the natural haven of the Clyde Walkway and the majestic and iconic Corra Linn waterfall. With secure, off road parking, it is the perfect base for visiting the local area and for visiting Glasgow and Edinburgh which are both less than an hour by car or train . With its own driveway the cottage is situated just off the main road .

Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open for breakfast, morning coffee and lunch, Monday-Friday) A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.
