The Duisburg houseboat Lore in the heart of the city

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

The apartment is not accessible (spiral staircase outside as the entrance to the accommodation and stairs inside as the entrance to the sleeping loft), pets allowed on request; non-smoking. After exploring the Ruhr area, visiting the Movie Park or "Auf Schalke," the loggia invites you to end the evening in peace. Within a few minutes' walk (~500 m) you can reach not only the Wittringer Forest and Martkplatz but also various restaurants and the shopping arcade. From Gladbeck you have a direct connection to the A2/A31/A52 highways.
