Faak am See is only a 10-minute drive from the Villach traffic hub. In summer, this region offers countless opportunities for swimming and hiking, and in winter, skiing in the border triangle.

Our place built by my grandparents is just 3 minutes on foot from the lake in a nice green,warm neighborhood. We believe the relaxed atmosphere of our home makes our guests feel welcomed. In honor of our mother Margarethe, who had looked after and loved this guesthouse for many years, we reopened it in the summer of 2019. The 4 double rooms have been converted into colourful themed rooms, some of the furniture has been preserved and adapted in colour and accents have been set with existing or new accessories.
