It is only 4 km as the crow flies to the North Sea. The apartment is 55 square meters and equipped for four people. A cosy attic apartment awaits you in the heart of the small town of Esens, on the North Sea. Located directly at the foot of St. Magnus Church, it is only about 1 minute to the market square and the pedestrian zone. The apartment was renovated in summer 2020 and has an open floor plan with modern furnishings and a huge roof terrace. A parking space is right outside the front door. You share the hallway with the commercial unit on the ground floor.

The apartment (big sister of Studio ton Barkenboom) is quietly located in a zone of 30, yet in the heart of the beautiful '' bear town'' Esens on the North Sea coast. The city centre, shops, doctors and pharmacies, as well as restaurants, are just a few minutes' walk away, and the beautiful beach in Bensersiel is also just a few minutes' drive away.

A little time out in Esens

In 2023, the large "Landzeit Esens" (8 people) got a little sister - the "Kleine Auszeit" (2 people). Again, exposed wooden beams determine the ambiance - and of course we rely on biological materials again. The "Small Break" is a one-room apartment and the sleeping gallery can only be reached via a (somewhat steeper) staircase. A private terrace with a fenced garden area is also part of the "Small Break."

Our apartment is located in the former living area of an old and extensively renovated Gulfhof, at the foot of the dike, in the midst of a nature reserve. High ceilings, thick beams, large wooden windows with a great view into the East Frisian landscape and a modern decor with great attention to detail make this apartment a place to come down and relax.
