The boutique design farm: ANNAS SCHEUNE

The gateway to the Elz Valley in the Black Forest and the world-famous Glotter Valley is the small “Slow City” Waldkirch. In the suburb of Buchholz, ANNAS SCHEUNE is located in the middle of the old town center. A 2016 organically loft-like renovated farmhouse with several outbuildings from the 17th century. The decor with antiques, design classics and custom-made furniture completes the modern country style of the barn. Charming artist's apartment by the vineyard near Freiburg

Welcome! The guest apartment (about 50 square meters) is located in the basement of our house - enough space that our guests can feel comfortable in their own area. Included in the price is the tourist tax to the municipality of Glottertal. From two nights (only for tourist stays) you will receive the KONUS-Card, with which you can use public transport free of charge throughout the Black Forest region, as well as free parking tickets for all P+R car parks in Freiburg.

For the little guests there is a loft bed, travel bed, games, high chair... The apartment is non-smoking. Underground parking is available.

Our apartment is located in Emmendingen – in the middle of the Freiburg region in the southern Black Forest. Our bright, quiet apartment offers enough space for up to 4 people with 72 square meters and is modernly furnished. In addition to the spacious kitchen and a cozy living room, the apartment has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. On the large covered terrace you can enjoy the sun of southern Baden and the view of our farm garden. The apartment is non-smoking.

It has a separate entrance and is only 20 minutes by car from Freiburg in the countryside and invites you to relax. But also the big cities of Basel (Switzerland) & Strasbourg (France) are easily reached within an hour by car, as well as Europa-Park in Rust as well as the Black Forest, Vosges & Kaiserstuhl.

There is an excavator lake nearby ( it may be bathed)

You will stay in a small workshop house on the edge of the old town, Wiehre district. Due to the rear house situation, you will live very quietly but still centrally, in the middle of Freiburg. The tram stop and bike station are just 2 minutes away. The infrastructure is extremely good, all important shops are within walking distance.
