New River Trail Cottage

Built in 1880 by Dr. A.C. Shepherd, this historic cottage has served as a doctor’s office, a general store, and a boarding house. The cottage is located at marker p12 on the New River Trail. From the wrap around porch, you can listen to the rapids cascading into Claytor Lake. A boat launch is conveniently located less than 1/2 mile away offering free river access. (Please note that the river is not directly accessible from the property). It is the perfect location to play, relax, or both!

Cabin by the River

Constructed from two old tobacco barns (with fireplace), this property provides a unique experience-connecting the past & present. The cabin is surrounded by nature’s beauty and Big Reed Island river flows only feet from the front porch. Set on 32 acres, the cabin has a large porch with rocking chairs perfect to enjoy views of the river & mountains. New addition includes an outdoor shower! Tiny House @ TinyHouseFamily

Our tiny house is beautifully appointed with everything you need to live (and work!) in luxury two miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and two miles from downtown Floyd, VA. Sleep soundly on the queen sized mattress topped with 4" memory foam. Cook your gourmet meals in the fully equipped kitchen—(we provide welcome mini loaf, organic coffee, half and half, sugar, rolled oats, olive oil, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.) Spend the evening enjoying a campfire or relax on the porch swing.

The Radford Dwelling

You will be centrally located to local attractions within Radford, along with Radford University and Virginia Tech. The Radford Dwelling is one block from the local walking/biking trails that take you through many parts of Radford including Wildwood Park, Bisset Park and down to Radford University. The Radford Dwelling is located on a dead end street with ample parking. Enjoy outdoor seating, an upstairs living room or a downstairs family room while you are visiting.

Cabin on the Creek

This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.

Hydrangea Hideaway Studio Oasis *no cleaning fee

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Only a few minutes off I-81, 10 minutes to Radford University and 20 minutes to Virginia Tech. A King bed to take all your worries away with a sofa sleeper for a little extra room. There will be cold beverages in the fridge for you if you would like. **This is for a 1 bedroom basement studio with private entrance, 1st floor is occupied by the host or tenant.

Our house is really special & unique. We want you to come enjoy the space! HUGE Private one room off the back of the house, complete with living room area, tv, king size bed, large private master bath, ability to set temperature (within range), futon, closet to store clothes or extra people! The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023). For larger groups, check out the guest house next door (Airbnb: Guest House on Homestead near Floyd/Blacksburg). ~10 miles to Floyd, ~20 miles to Blacksburg, ~35 miles to Roanoke.

The Carriage House

Retreat to the country and experience simple living at its finest! Travel by gravel road to enjoy a peaceful setting with very little traffic. Second story living quarters with everything you need for a delightful stay. Kitchen is stocked with cooking/dining and coffee supplies.. Reclining couch, TV w/ Roku and DVDs (no cable), games, and several books to help you unwind and relax. Cot available for third guest. Now with WiFi!
