We have preserved so much of the old from the house and partially reused kitchen cabinets, benches and panels from Vesterø church, etc. The previous owner's things are also reused, especially pictures. Old farmhouse with a wonderful sea view. The house is situated on a hill from which you have an amazing view over a Forest, lake and the south sea of Funen. The house is surrounded by a big garden where you in the summertime are welcome to pick the fruit from the trees. Its the place where I grew up, with a lot of nice memories. The local supermarket is 800 m away, and the next lager city Faaborg 10 km and Svendborg 16 km away. The garden is peaceful. Just take a book and relax!

Spiseplads til 4 og et lille køkken med køl, frys, kogeplader, mikrobølgeovn, kaffemaskine, elkedel mm. Samt et badeværelse med bruser. Lejligheden er aflåst til resten af boligen, og har sin egen tagterrasse hvorfra der også er egen indgang. Fri wifi. Vi har 2 fjordheste, høns, geder og en sød udekat. Leje af fold til medbragt hest muligt.

Oprindeligt opført som hestestald i 1832, er denne bygning nu ombygget til en charmerende bolig med eget køkken og toilet. Perfekt til en weekendtur eller et stop undervejs på cykelferien. I stueetagen finder du et åbent køkken og stue i ét, med adgang til en privat terrasse samt et badeværelse. På første sal er der et rummeligt værelse med fire enkeltsenge og udsigt over havet fra den ene ende af rummet. Boligen skal efterlades i samme stand som ved ankomst.

The stay includes a DIY breakfast with sourdough rolls, butter, jam, milk,eggs from our hens, and nourishing porridge – ideal for an authentic and relaxing getaway close to nature.

Skævinge, the old henhouse in rural surroundings

We have renovated the old hen house to a small cozy annex. The house has a room and is situated on its own in our small country house and we have 12 hens and a rooster that graze freely on the piece next to the house. The farm is originally from 1914 and is surrounded by fields and overlooking bedrock mountains. On the property you will also find our cafe and farm shop that sells coffee, cake, sandwich, brunch etc. opening hours Friday-Sunday 10am-5pm
