This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

On the west side of the island near the forests and the beach with unobstructed views over the meadows, the dunes and the church of Den Hoorn. Hares, buzzards, chick thieves and owls regularly come to Heidehof for a look. In the evening you can enjoy the most beautiful starry sky in the Netherlands, kept warm by the wood fire in the fireplace.
