Step outside and enjoy stunning walks, superb bike rides or peaceful fishing directly from this lovely 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house in the beautiful Rhondda Valley, without even getting in the car. Bike Park Wales and the Brecon Beacons are also just a short drive away making the house an ideal base for anyone wanting to explore all that the area has to offer. Bike storage and bike washing facilities available. Parking for 3 cars. Up to 2 dogs are welcome for an additional £20 pet fee per dog.

(secure bike lock up / pressure washer on request) 15 minutes to both 4 waterfall hikes. 20 minutes to the start of Pen-y-Fan. 30 minutes from Cardiff / Swansea.

Escape to the Bannau Brychieniog / Brecon Beacons National Park and stay in our cosy shepherd's hut. The 'Bee Hive' hut is close to the village of Penderyn and next to Beili Helyg Farm. The hut has a double bed, kitchen & dining area with folding table, fridge & ice box, combi microwave oven, double induction hob and Belfast sink. There is a shower room with flushing toilet. Below the master bed is an alcove with a futon for a child to sleep comfortably. Decking, fire pit, BBQ, WiFi & TV.

Bikepark Wales within 10 minutes walk. All you need for a relaxing stay whatever your plans. Lovely enclosed modern garden with secure bike storage. Smart/Now Tv Netflix. Edge of Brecon's Beacons, Zipworld Tower, Penyfan, mountain railway, & numerous walking trails & cycle paths. No pets accepted.

Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

Brynawel is a very short walk to Merthyr Tydfil town centre, the train and bus station, but far enough away for you to have a peaceful retreat.
