The old workshop is perfectly located for exploring the cardigan bay coastline, or the Cambrian mountains (Newquay beach is 13 miles away, and Lampeter town 6 miles away). There is also a mill pond and 180 acres of private land to access freely from your doorstep. There are no main roads in sight and the peacefulness and lack of noise is bliss. Y Cartws is a converted stable/barn, build of stone and dating from the early 19th century in a quiet location next to an 11th century small country church.Attached and for guests` use, is parking for 2 cars, small lawn, woodland and barbecue area.It is a 20 minute drive from the coast where you can see dolphins all Summer via boat trips etc.It has been awarded 5* three times and most of the accommodation is on one floor except for the sitting room which is upstairs in the Gallery.

Ty Twt - neat and cosy - is part of Wildernest, a haven set in the coastal hills above the delightful Aeron Valley. Sleeping is in the croglofft, above the kitchen-living space, with the 2nd bedroom and the shower room at ground level; underfloor heating and log burner. It can sleep 4 but we say 3 people comfortably. Hence, there's no charge for a fourth person. If you need the second bed to be made up please enter 3 (or 4) guests.
