The Fishermans Haven with Private Dock

Waterfront retreat with private dock. Take a break and unwind. This rustic cabin on the HILLSIDE and is nestled in the cove at Claytor Lake. First bedroom has queen bed with a chest of drawers and a smart-tv. 2nd bedroom had a full bed. Living area has a pull out twin size futon. An air mattress is available. Enjoy great fishing, swimming or just grilling out and sitting on the dock. It’s a great getaway for couples or small families, or for Radford graduation or VA Tech games/graduation.

Claytor Lake Pool House

Relax and unwind in our spacious guest house. Step out of the door onto the beautiful full size, in- ground pool deck, open late May to early September. Well appointed kitchen with everything you need to cook a full meal or just a quick snack. About 3 minutes to Claytor Lake State Park for hiking, swimming or boating with Mountain View's. We have parking for your boat on the property. We live in a log home on the property and are usually available by text or in person. Easy access to I-81.

New River Trail Cottage

Built in 1880 by Dr. A.C. Shepherd, this historic cottage has served as a doctor’s office, a general store, and a boarding house. The cottage is located at marker p12 on the New River Trail. From the wrap around porch, you can listen to the rapids cascading into Claytor Lake. A boat launch is conveniently located less than 1/2 mile away offering free river access. (Please note that the river is not directly accessible from the property). It is the perfect location to play, relax, or both!

The Boat House is a newly remodeled studio space. It’s a unique place to stay, located on a private dead end road right on the water with beautiful views it’s 5 minutes from I 81. Perfect for Virginia Tech home sporting events. It’s also perfect for Virginia Tech and Radford University Graduations, weekend or weekly family getaway. You will have access to the dock on the property for fishing and swimming, there is available space at the dock if you have your own watercraft.
