We are 4 miles from Fall Creek Landing on Lake Keowee and 8 miles from Lake Jocassee Devils Fork StatePark. The bed is comfortable and the futon is also great for that extra person or children.Grab a drink or a cup of coffee and Sit on the porch or relax in the hammock. Play some corn hole. Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.
