My place is close to the beach, great views, and family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the outdoors space, the comfy bed, and the neighbourhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
“Beautiful, cosy and comfortable cottage. Philip and Vicki had left us flowers, milk, coffee, tea and biscuits which was a lovely surprise. Bed linen and towels were clean and of good quality. The double bed has a memory foam mattress and is wonderfully comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, bright and airy. We visited at the end of February in very chilly weather but the central heating kept us nice and toasty. The garden was lovely and private but the weather was not conducive to al fresco dining, maybe next time! It is an old cottage with lots of charm, the ceilings and doorways are low, be prepared! Also there are two staircases one wooden and one wonderfully quirky stone spiral staircase (gorgeous!) but neither has banisters the whole length so if you have mobility difficulties this possibly isn’t the place for you. The parking space is tight if you have a large car, ours didn’t fit but we always managed to park close by. Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting.”
Bramble Barn is a beautiful 17th century barn conversion situated down a private road just 4 miles from Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and the Jurrasic Coast World Heritage Site. This large splendid brick barn has been converted into two identical properties creating accommodation of the highest standards throughout. Each barn has its own enclosed garden and a south facing terrace, ideal for eating out. Tadnoll Heath, a Dorset Wildlife Trust Reserve, lies just to the north.. Ample parking
“The cottage is lovely and in a fabulous location close to the Jurassic coast. Easy check-in with the key box, very clean, plenty of homely touches and wine and chocolates on arrival. Off road secure parking and an enclosed garden for the dog. Would recommend.”
Wooden barn conversion that's been converted to the highest spec, on the edge of a pretty rural Dorset village. Only a few miles from the stunning Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, there is plenty of walks attractions for all the family. The world famous Monkey world and Tank Museum is only a 10 minute drive away, you could also visit the ruins of Corfe castle with beautiful village it is set in. We are 20 minute drive from Dorchester which was the home of Thomas Hardy.
“We had a lovely stay at Eric and Jan's place. Eric is always quick to reply to our queries before our arrival. There were three of us staying for the weekend. The barn is much more spacious than we expected. It was also very clean, warm (very well insulated and excellent heating), and bright with plenty of natural lights. The kitchen is very well equipped. The shower is excellent , strong water pressure and perfect temperature. Great location as well, less than 10 minutes drive to Durdle Door and 15 mins drive to Corfe Castle. There is also a local pub 5 minutes walk away. Will definitely come back ! Thanks Eric and Jan.”
