River Watch Retreat

You will not forget your stay at the River Watch Retreat, and will want to tell your friends. This beautiful cabin offers a full NW view of the Carolina Blue Sky and setting sun on ENC's Trent River. Interior is paneled in locally sourced Poplar with Cedar accents. Beadboard and custom ceramic tile compliment the bathroom. Sleeping options: foldout couch downstairs and futon in loft. *Watch Bald Eagles, Geese, Heron and Osprey from 2 elevated decks a stone's throw from the water!

Salty Cottage is the perfect family home located less than one mile from historic downtown Swansboro and 6 miles from the beach's of Emerald Isle. Salty cottage is a fully remolded 19th century historic home that was moved from downtown Swansboro to the banks of the White Oak river. You'll find the amenities are bountiful from the views of the white oak river through the live oaks off the back deck to the private bricked courtyard for morning coffee located just off your master suite.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the back deck, fish from the dock, take your boat out, rent a kayak, go on a boat tour, or head to the beach, and then wind down in a hammock or by the fire pit with sunset and a water view.

Come enjoy our slice of heaven, the Coastal Carolina Cottage. This chic space offers an updated, open living area which is perfect for gathering. Our space also includes a spacious fenced in yard and lovely patio. The cottage is nestled in Vista Cay Village. We are centrally located near Emerald Isle, Hammocks Beach State Park, Camp Lejeune, Croatan National Forest, and historic downtown Swansboro. Lastly, we are a veteran owned and operated business. Located along a quiet street this vacation house boasts water views and expansive outdoor areas. The features include a cozy fire pit and ample seating to encourage relaxation and leisurely meals. The landscaped grounds create a tranquil oasis where you can sip a glass of wine while watching the sunset or have a quiet morning coffee. The intracoastal waterway is a short walk from the front steps. This inviting retreat blends comfort with natural beauty, making it a perfect getaway.

Miles of breathtaking water views looking towards Swansboro from this riverfront cottage that has been newly renovated inside & out. A mile dirt road takes you off the beaten path & a private setting on the end of a dirt lane with only a few other fishing cottages. You will love the peace & quiet & refreshing breezes. Enjoy sunrises/sunsets from the pier! Access to kayaks, canoe & 2 paddleboards. Enjoy the ospreys dive bomb for fish, an occasional dolphin, & other birdlife.

Our waterfront paradise sits on a point on Queens Creek with a 180-degree view of the quarter-mile-wide estuary, just upriver from the Intracoastal Waterway and 5 miles from the ocean. We’ve rehabbed a 1959 fishing cottage, 2 bed, 2 bath surrounded by glass w/ kitchen and living facing the water.
