Picturesque, Historic Villa with Island Views

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

On foot, crossing a wood of locust trees and fir trees, you will arrive at a delightful river beach. The garden with barbecue is available & shared for guests.

Cascina Ronco dei Lari - the Tower - Lake Maggiore

On the hills, among woods, meadows, cultivated fields and fruit trees, inside the Ticino Park, stands the Cascina Ronco dei Lari, which origins date back to 1700, renovated in 2022. You can appreciate the calm of the place, immerse yourself in nature, practice sports and enjoy moments of rural life just a stone's throw from Lake Maggiore and 40 minutes from Milan. It will be possible to benefit from the Cascina products such as berries, jams, juices, saffron, honey and vegetables.

Your bedroom overlooks the trees in the garden and the cultivated fields. Relax and enjoy the surrounding nature! On the ground floor a living room and a large kitchen, on the first floor your bedroom, balcony and bathroom. You will be guests in the house where I normally live. Take care of it :)
