Naturhaus Altmühltal

Our nature house consists entirely of natural building materials and uses the synergy effects of radiant heat and solar energy. The untreated wood is constructed according to the system of Bio-Solar-Haus, whereby no paint or other preservatives were processed. The solid wood floors throughout the house are oiled. In addition to natural wood such as stone pine and oak, other natural materials such as natural stone from the region (Jura marble) have been processed. The construction of the Bio-Solar house allows a natural air circulation and thus dispenses with the disadvantages of ventilation systems. There are no convection formed due to a built-ceiling and wall radiant heating.Through the house-in-house system (without vapor barrier), the water vapor can diffuse freely to the outside, causing no condensation and mold. Given the low heating energy demand in the house and the use of solar radiation, no fossil fuels are needed. Solar energy is the main energy source, only in winter can be heated if necessary with the wood stove. Service we are happy to bring you fresh, crispy and wholesome bread rolls from a BIO-bakery from our region.

Tiny Anlautertal

Take a natural and minimalist break in the Tiny Anlautertal. In the idyllic Anlautertal, a side valley of the famous Altmühl Valley, you can enjoy the tranquility in the tiny house and outside. Upon entering, a pleasant scent of wood welcomes you. You sleep in a bunk bed with two windows, have a dining area for two people, a bathroom with shower and toilet and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside the front door, you can perhaps hear and discover the kingfisher on the small terrace.

Spend the night in the old wood warehouse of the carpenter's shop. The guest house can accommodate up to 7 people. In the old carpentry shop there is now a tasting room, which is available as a lounge during your visit. You are also welcome to book a tasting (wine, whiskey, beer, etc.) or a culinary journey. Our farm in the middle of the Franconian Lake District is perfect for taking a few days off and taking a vacation in an idyllic landscape. Many cycling and walking routes and the proximity to lakes offer many leisure activities for both couples and families. Our farm is also in a quiet location for working people who are looking for a place to stay near their place of work. Breakfast options and local delicacies are within walking distance.

Between the Franconian Lake District and the Altmühl Valley lies the Hohenmühle, surrounded by horse and cow pastures, you can enjoy the tranquility. Right outside the door you can take a nice walk to the Bismarck Tower. Within 10 - 15 minutes you can walk to the city center. The apartment is fully equipped for 2-5 people.

The quiet cottage is on the edge of the woods near a residential estate. There are many leisure opportunities because the cottage is located between the "Altmühltal" and the "Fränkischen Seenland" so you can do many different trips. Because of the quiet and peaceful location of our cottage we decided not to install WiFi so our guest can take time out.
