Holiday home at the Quince/ private sauna-in IHLOW

Relax in this special and quiet accommodation, picturesque village Ihlow, in the Märkische Schweiz (5km walk through the forest to Buckow), 55km east of Berlin. You can swim in the Reichenower Lake (3km) or in the Grosser Thornowsee. If you don't have a car, you can get there by bus or bicycle (18km) from Straussberg Nord station. The house was finished in 2022 (developed by 3 architects of the Berlin Academy of Art 3 bedrooms,2 baths, large dining table, fireplace, finnish sauna, sunny terrace

A house in the fields

The house is situated alone in a sea of fields, surrounded by the wind in a fantastic perennial garden. With the help of many artist colleagues and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 1990s was converted and renovated into a small oasis and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. In constant growth and change, an idyllic place was created - and is still being created - in which 10 people can be accommodated in the guest part.

Historic houseboat with fireplace & optional sauna

Experience a special break on our stylishly converted houseboat “MS Sunday”, a historic ferry (1925) that has been converted into a high-quality accommodation for up to 4 people. Located on Rummelsburger Bucht, you can enjoy the perfect combination of nature, water and proximity to central Berlin. Whether it's a romantic weekend, a short break or time with friends, you'll experience Berlin from a very special perspective.

Vacation home in the countryside

The apartment is located in a stylish old farmhouse converted in 2023 in the Schorfheide nature reserve, and is only a 2-minute walk from the lake, where you can swim quietly and relax. The house has a rowboat, which can be used for a fee (€10/day). From the large outdoor terrace you can watch cranes and storks in the meadow belonging to the courtyard. The Chorin monastery and the Brodowin eco-village can each be reached in 15 minutes by car (30 minutes by bike).

Miss Käthe's Summer Resort

"Fräulein Käthes Sommerfrische" is a vacation apartment located in the beautiful Uckermark, one hour north of Berlin. The 70 sqm apartment is on the second floor of an old servants' house, directly on the Anger of the small village, which is surrounded by 7 lakes. The owner lives (with cat Charly) in the apartment on the ground floor. Vacationers are welcome to share and enjoy the garden. A pergola with fireplace, in the back of the garden, invites you to linger.

It has three bedrooms and one bathroom on each floor. In the living room is a fireplace, for a cozy time on colder days. Cozy hours in front of the fireplace or in summer on the balcony. This is the largest of our 3 apartments. It has a large kitchen and a spacious living room with a fireplace. There is a bedroom with a double bed and on the upper floor another sleeping area with 2 single beds, there is also a second small toilet. In summer you can also meet outside on the communal terrace. The area invites you to take wonderful walks in the lower Oder valley.

The transport links to the city of Angermünde are ideal: A bike path and hourly bus connections offer easy accessibility. Explore the Uckermark while hiking, biking or doing cultural activities. An elaborately restored school building from 1873 awaits you. The apartment captivates with a lot of wood and the walls plastered with clay. In the garden, right next to the horse paddock, you will find an old stone barn, where you will find a large fireplace room, an infrared cabin, a wood-fired sauna and a bathroom.
