Lake Werdersee and the Weser River are within walking distance, and thanks to the excellent connection to several train and bus lines, the city center and the rest of Bremen are just a stone's throw away.

The Donnerschwee farm, first mentioned in 1937 and later built, is located in the northeast of the city of Oldenburg and was the first settlement house on the square. The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. The surroundings impress with their proximity to the Donnerschwee meadows and their beautiful cycling and walking paths. Nevertheless, everyday necessities are within a few minutes' walk or on foot.

Our cozy cottage is located in the south of Bremerhaven (120 square meters plus conservatory) - now also with Wi-Fi. Net and bakeries can be reached on foot. It's 2 minutes to the next bus stop, a 5-minute walk to Wulsdorfer Bahnhof. Bremerhaven city center or the dike can be reached within 10 minutes by car. The state capital Bremen can be reached by train in 45 minutes, even faster by car. The North Sea beaches can be reached in max. 30 minutes.

From this centrally located place you are in a few steps in the lively city life and yet live in a quiet side street. The apartment is located in the middle of the trendy district, the "Viertel." The charming city of Oldenburg (15 km away) is a great place to go shopping and is also known for its diverse cultural events and night-life.

The guest suite has 80 sqm with an open living and dining area, 2 bedrooms with high ceilings, a large bathroom with windows and a terrace. The apartment is located in Leuchtenburg near Bremen-Lesum train station. The journey to downtown Bremen takes about 15 minutes by car. There are very good shopping facilities nearby and wonderful walks in the recreational area.

Our guests have the upper floor with 90 sqm to themselves. A small second front door leads up. There is a kitchen-living room, a large bedroom with 160 cm double bed, another room with 140 cm double bed, the fireplace room, a small balcony and a bathroom with tub and shower. I live on the ground floor with my boyfriend and our 3 CATS, I cannot rule out that the curious furry inhabitants will visit you if you have the door open.

Enjoy your time out in our tasteful accommodation right next to the natural forest Franzhorner Forst. The apartment is family-friendly and fully equipped with everything you need for a nice break. When you step out of your own front door, you are practically already on the Nordpfad/in the forest. In the shared large garden plot there is a private terrace, a fire pit and the possibility to barbecue and plenty of space to relax.
